OpsCat does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All your data stays on your device and in your private iCloud account.

1. Information We Collect

OpsCat does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device to provide core app functionality:

Server configurations — hostnames, ports, usernames (stored in app sandbox)
SSH credentials — passwords and private keys (encrypted via iOS Keychain / Secure Enclave)
Command snippets — your saved commands
App settings — theme, language, terminal preferences

All sensitive data (passwords, private keys) is stored using Apple's Keychain Services with hardware-backed encryption.

3. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your server configurations and snippets are stored in your private iCloud container. This data is:

Accessible only by you through your Apple ID
Encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest
Not accessible to OpsCat developers or any third party

SSH passwords and private keys are never synced to iCloud. They remain in your device's Keychain only.

4. Network Connections

OpsCat connects to the network only in the following cases:

SSH connections — to the servers you explicitly configure, using the SSH protocol (port 22 or custom)
iCloud sync — to Apple's iCloud servers (if enabled)
App Store — for in-app purchase verification (handled by Apple)

OpsCat does not connect to any analytics services, advertising networks, or our own servers.

5. Third-Party Services

OpsCat does not integrate any third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or tracking. The only third-party service involved is Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases.

6. Children's Privacy

OpsCat is a professional tool and does not target children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Since we don't collect your contact information, we recommend checking this page periodically.
